The New Zealand Performance Agency is a company that connects New Zealand's top performers with potential employers. We have a database of over a thousand acts from around New Zealand and around the world. 

Who uses the New Zealand Performance Agency?

Any event organiser in New Zealand who is looking for a performer can contact us to see if we have a performer to fit their event (we do!).

We provide performers for festivals, agricultural and pastoral shows, birthday parties, corporate events, business functions, music festivals, hen/stag nights, cabaret, food and wine festivals, school fairs, bars (etc)

How do I book an act?

To book an act (or multiple acts) you first choose the categories and the type of shows you would like - roving, festival, children's, stage. Then call or email us with an enquiry. We will give you a free quote that contains everything you need to make a decision such as

- details of the acts available in your region; the running times of each act, availability, and a total price (including GST). We can even put together a performance 'package' tailored to suit your event - for free!

Why have a price range and not a set price?

The price of entertainment fluctuates depending on the performer. Performers who are very experienced, very polished and well known can charge more. Fees also have regional and seasonal variations.

How did the Performance Agency start?

The Agency grew out of Chris Davis's performance career. Chris was often passing gigs onto other performers or recommending performers to event organisers throughout New Zealand. It became apparent that a performance focused agency would be useful for connecting New Zealand circus, festival and variety performers with event organisers.

How does the agency choose which performers to list?

The agency does have quality control. We list the top performers in each category - we do not list every performer available. Our criteria are

(1) A polished act  (2) Professionalism (3) Experience.

Chris and Maria attend around 100 events a year nationwide (and some international events). At each event, they collect business cards and contact details from performers that the Performance Agency would like to represent.

Do I have to pay a booking fee when booking an act?

The New Zealand Performance Agency does not charge any booking or agency fees.
